I am not posting my normal length of newsletter this weekend as my schedule coincides with Christmas Day and I imagine you will all have many other things to enjoy rather than reading my words. I shall instead post a couple of pieces over and early in the New Year.
In the meantime may I take this opportunity to thank all of you, my subscribers, for your support in this first year of my writings on Substack. It’s been a delight to have you along. I sincerely hope you will stay with me for the coming year and indeed encourage anyone else you think might enjoy my writing to sign up. As you know, it is completely free for those who wish or, if you choose to further to support me in my endeavours, you can become a paid subscriber.
I shall continue to cover a wide selection of topics, whatever happens to be on my mind and, as always, if there is something you’ve been thinking about that you’d like me to write a piece on, please do let me know. I look forward to more discourse with you in 2023.
This first year on Substack has been an interesting journey. Whilst my fears of not being able to handle the tech involved have not been an issue, I have had other difficulties - all health related, that I could never have foreseen when 2022 began. Thankfully my family and I are entering the Christmas period in a much improved state both of body and mind and we are very much looking forward to the celebrations. So all that remains is for me to say a very Merry Christmas to you and yours and may all your Christmases be bright!
I'm just to happy knowing you and your girls are healing and were able to enjoy the holidays.
Don't feel rushed to write when you have much to deal with I'm sure - just know we can wait - and it will be extra special when you do write another of your always wonderful essays Susy.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thankyou and have a wonderful Christmas together ; so thankful that you are all getting better. My poetry is on www.runningintheslowlanelife.com. Take care x
