I am just around the corner from you and this area is looking wonderful. The Green. The park. The river. So beautiful.

Thank you for letting us see your beautiful garden 😍 It really is an exciting time of year with so much to look forward to. Do post again in the summer - especially your lavender hedge!

Enjoyed the video, thank you! A bit further ahead than the East Midlands… Just returned from Norfolk where the supposed lawn was almost all moss, about 3” deep (the dog thought it was a giant dog bed!). I left some grass long last year and that is now moss 5” deep😳🤷‍♀️

Glad you enjoyed it. I think every year shall I just get rid of the lawn and put gravel or paving down. It’s so much work to keep it looking even halfway decent. But I do like the calmness a stretch of green brings

Loved the video. Things are a bit further behind here in Wales.

Thanks Kitty. It has been like summer here, with sunshine every day for a couple of weeks. Then the the North East wind starts up again and we remember it’s only just April

Thanks lynne. So glad you liked it. Yes I shall. It’s taken me a while to get the hang of video on Substack but I shall certainly do more. The garden is changing all the time.

Good morning Susy from Northern Italy! Loved your heartwarming video of your garden and your pink cherry tree is heavenly! We’re now in the process of cleaning up and beautifying our little garden after some devastation- due to recent necessary rock wall protection. Our place is on a mountainous rocky slope south west facing so it’s exciting to plan what to plant… would like to try lots of flowering trees and bushes.

We’ll see…!🙂

Have a lovely Spring Sunday 🌸

So you’re finally there Sue. How exciting to have a new project. Perhaps you should write about your new life on Substack!

Gosh yes- maybe! Never considered this… It’s all been a big learning curve, the new language, the mountainous terrain, the unfamiliarity of it all. We’re taking each day as it comes🙏
