Dear Susie,

As always I look forward to and enjoy reading your monthly takes.

I am so very sorry to hear re your brother.

Thinking about your musings re endings and beginnings, my mother was born in early October so I tend to not feel quite as sad about October. And I love the colours emerging. Then again I sometimes wish our loved ones could just go on forever!

Many warm wishes, Sue

Poignant and so true . Today was our 35th Wedding Anniversary and Bethan’s 26th birthday. I wore my mother’s jewellery out to lunch, so conscious that my parents are no longer here . At church we sang Great is Thy Faithfulness and it was so poignant as that was sung at our wedding in 1988 when both of our parents were there . Grief is strange - it bounces back again and again - just as real as just now . My thoughts are with you Susie . Thankyou for your writing x
